Fuengirola - Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain is a pretty and touristy place to visit. This article contains some more unusual photographic scenes captured in and around the town.
Fuengirola is a popular seaside destination both for visitors from other European countries and also for Spaniards traveling from inland cities.
Most photo galleries of the town will show the more touristy side of the town, but here we have some different scenes, including some with a touch of humor.
This little alley is out of the way, and probably rarely visited by tourists to the town. It has become a popular place for graffitti artists to display their work, including the famous street artist, Nekem, whose more commercial work appears all over town. Visiting the alley sees a change in artwork on a regular basis:

Construction work can be very tiring in the summer heat, and when siesta-time rolls around, you can sometimes catch interesting scenes, like this worker resting comfortably in his wheelbarrow:

Visiting the local market presents many quaint and charming local scenes, including this man and child playing a local equivalent of "Pat-a-cake":

When walking around town, you occasionally come across a handsome human statue, trying to make a few euros:

The local Renfe railway station presents some interesting angles from a photographic point of view — the train service runs between Málaga city, Málaga airport and Fuengirola regularly during the day:

Of course, being a seaside town, many of the side streets take you down to the beach. This scene shows one of these narrow side streets, taken after a light rain:
