article imageThe Devil and Dominic O'Flynn Special

By Alexander Baron     Aug 22, 2013 in Entertainment
London - Dominic O'Flynn played the Devil himself in a recent stage production, but if his latest film scores, he could have one Hell of a career.
O'Flynn's performance in Citizens Of Hell was exemplary, but this was a small, experimental production by David Parry, who hopes and almost certainly will introduce Elchin Afandiyev to a wider Western audience.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, O'Flynn admits to being 43ish, and from his CV it is clear that he came to acting late in life. The question though is where does he go now?
Having appeared in a number of music videos, he seems now to be setting his sights higher. His new film Dark Matter is due for release shortly, not the first film with that title.
If that sounds, well, dark, it is in character; in spite of his wiry build he has a natural menacing persona as can be see from his showreel. There is another route he could take though; he would not be the first Irishman to play James Bond.
Check out the third photograph below and you'll probably agree.
