article imageReview: Talking to a Cajun crochet chick Special

By Nichole Childers     Aug 18, 2013 in Business
Greenwell Springs - April Eldridge, from Louisiana, found a love for crochet and turned it into a profitable business a year later called Cajun Crochet Chick. In her own words, she describes how she discovered her talent and became a master of the art of crochet.
"I've always been drawn to yarn for some reason and always wanted to learn but didn't have anyone to learn from. In February of last year, a friend of mine suggested I watch videos on YouTube and learn that way. She is a fellow crocheter so she sent me a care package of yarn, crochet hooks, and a couple pattern books. Between videos and books, I taught myself to crochet. It was instant love. I have always had a love for creating things. I quickly progressed and became good enough to sell my goods. I've mostly sold to friends and family and a couple of people who found my Facebook page."
