Reigning Academy of Country Music (ACM) and Country Music Association (CMA) “Female Vocalist of the Year” Miranda Lambert released her newest single “All Kinds of Kinds” via her label, RCA Nashville.
It is her fifth radio single from her latest studio album “Four the Record.” The song was co-written by Phillip Coleman and Don Henry and after eight weeks on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, it sits at No. 28, for the week ending August 24, 2013.
“All Kinds of Kinds” is a mid-tempo country tune that showcases Miranda’s bold yet crystalline and heartfelt vocals. Along with the poignant ballad “Over You,” which she co-wrote with her husband Blake Shelton, this new single is one of my favorites on her new record.
The Verdict
Miranda Lambert garners an A rating for “All Kinds of Kinds.” Along with fellow country songstress Ashton Shepherd, Miranda is one of the few females in country that has stayed true to her roots consistently over the years.
While her two previous radio singles “Fastest Girl in Town” and “Mama’s Broken Heart” peaked at No. 3 and No. 2 respectively on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, this will certainly be the song that will help her reclaim the No. 1 spot on country radio.
