By Layne Weiss     Aug 17, 2013 in Entertainment
Top Dawg Entertainment artists Kendrick Lamar, SchoolboyQ, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock were filmed for a documentary chronicling the road to Budweiser's Made In America Festival.
"I've been taking a break for like 23 years," says Kendrick in the preview, which will be released by Jay-Z's Life+Times. "Now it's time for me to man up and really do what I planned on doing."
According to HipHopDX, fellow TDE member Jay Rock discussed his childhood in the preview.
"Growing up in my neighborhood, I always had a thing for music and dreamed of being big," Rock said.
The Made In America Festival will also feature acts such as A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz, Nine Inch Nails, Beyonce, and more.
The rap world is still reeling over Kendrick Lamar's verse on Big Sean's control.
Rappers like Joell Ortiz and Papoose have vocally taken exception to Kendrick's words with their own diss raps.
