article imageReview: Kenny Davin Fine showcases talent on new album 'First DeKade' Special

Country singer and songwriter Kenny Davin Fine released his “First DeKade” album via his independent record label, Finer Entertainment.
This collection consists of 29 songs that were penned by Kenny and it closes with a reprise of “For Want of Higher Ground.” In addition to his musical endeavors, Kenny is a medical doctor, who is able to juggle both of his greatest passions in life.
While it is difficult to choose a favorite recording, I really enjoyed listening to such prime cuts as “Against the Rain,” the mellow “Wipe Those Tears Away,” “Circle of Life,” as well as “Bird in the Hand,” the latter of which has a classic Beatles vibe to it.
Kenny Davin Fine is such an incredible musician: His vocals on “First DeKade” are rich, crystalline and as smooth as silk. I love his phrasing and his songwriting ability. He reminds me so much of two of my all-time favorite music legends blended in as one: Merle Haggard and the late John Denver. His latest CD is a must for any country fan, as well as for folks who enjoy soft rock and blues music.
