New York - On August 8, RCA country recording artist Jake Owen performed his new single “Days of Gold” on NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”
“Our next guest made his TV debut with us last year and since then he scored four No. 1 hits on the Billboard Country charts. You’re welcome,” Jimmy Fallon told Jake jokingly. “Tonight he is here to premiere ‘Days of Gold,’ the lead single from his album of the same name, which will be released on December 3. Please welcome him back on our show. We love him. Jake Owen everybody,” Jimmy added.
Jake immediately broke into his up-tempo, rocking country song “Days of Gold” and the country singer was able to get to show’s audience up on their feet and clapping along to him. His energy and stage presence were infectious.
Jimmy Fallon was impressed by Jake’s live performance and stated, “You rocked it. Jake Owen. Oh my goodness.”
The TV host added that a web exclusive performance of his chart-topping country single “The One That Got Away,” where Jake accompanied himself on acoustic guitar, is available on the official website of his show.
The Verdict
Jake was able to wow his fans on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and his viewers at home watching from their TV sets thanks to his mind-blowing performance of “Days of Gold.” If this single is any indication of how his forthcoming studio album is going to be, then it will certainly be a real treat for country fans around the globe.
