On August 11, British pop boy band One Direction were on fire at this year’s Teen Choice Awards, which took place in Los Angeles at the Gibson Amphitheatre.
They performed their new single “Best Song Ever” and they shared the stage with such artists as rock group Paramore (“Still Into You”), country duo Florida Georgia Line (“Cruise”), as well as pop sensation Demi Lovato, where she sang “Made in the U.S.A.” with Nick Jonas on drums.
Their live performance of “Best Song Ever” was high-energy and it was met with a loud applause from cheering fans as confetti drizzled from the ceiling. “Best Song Ever” has already peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, making it their highest charting song to date.
One Direction took home 2013 Teen Choice awards in the following three categories: “Choice Group of the Year,” “Choice Summer Tour: Take Me Home Tour,” as well as for “Choice Love Song” for their ballad “Little Things.”
