There are countless different species of insects, some are bothersome to humans, some are of benefit to us, all are a critical component of biodiversity. Pollinators such as bees and wasps are indispensable to humans.
There are Black Widow Spiders in Alberta, however Black Widow Spider bites are rarely fatal, if proper medical treatment is taken. Insects are an important food source for many bird species.
Sure some insects are dangerous, but they all have a certain beauty. Insects serve a very important role in the world, but we rarely take the time to appreciate them for what they are.
