article imageReview: The Yellow Porch is a fine restaurant in Nashville Special

By Markos Papadatos     Aug 4, 2013 in Food
Nashville - On July 10, while on vacation, I was afforded the privilege to dine at The Yellow Porch, a restaurant that is situated at 734 Thompson Lane in Nashville, Tennessee.
I was impressed with the generous portion of their Caesar salad, as it was topped with grilled chicken, Parmesan cheese, croutons and their own homemade Caesar dressing.
The Yellow Porch’s Penne Bettola consisted of pasta in Vodka cream sauce, coupled with garlic and tomatoes, which is a treat for any fan of the gourmet Italian cuisine.
Their chocolate espresso torte was rich, deep and it tasted quite savory. Its presentation was eloquent, consisting of whipped cream, syrups and powdered sugar, and it is the perfect delight to satisfy your sweet tooth with.
The Verdict
In summation, The Yellow Porch is a true gem in Nashville and an absolute pleasure to visit. All of the meals arrived at the table fast and they were fresh. Their waiters and staff were attentive, extremely pleasant and accommodating. It is the ideal place to bring your friends and acquaintances to sample some of finest dishes prepared in Nashville. It is such a warm atmosphere and they made a New Yorker like myself feel at home.
According to Martha Moore, veteran music publicist and president of So Much Moore Media, she remarked, “The Yellow Porch is one of my favorite eateries in Nashville. It reminds me of a New York restaurant since it is small yet cozy with an intimate neighborhood feel. I always run into someone in the music business I know there and the menu is eclectic and very yummy.”
