article imageReview: Country singer Frankie Ballard releases new single 'Helluva Life' Special

By Markos Papadatos     Aug 1, 2013 in Entertainment
Country singer Frankie Ballard released his newest single “Helluva Life” to country radio this week. Thus far, it was the most added song on mainstream country radio, with 57 first week station adds, which is quite impressive.
A Battle Creek, Michigan, native, Frankie is known for such Top 30 country hit singles “Tell Me You Get Lonely” and “A Buncha Girls.” He has opened for such mega-stars as Taylor Swift, Bob Seger and Kenny Chesney.
“Helluva Life” tune was co-written by Rodney Clawson, Josh Kear and Chris Tompkins. It has garnered raves from Music Row Magazine, and rightfully so. I found this tune very uplifting, catchy and soothing. It has a laid back and relaxing vibe to it and this jam makes one appreciate all of the little things that life has to offer.
The Verdict
Frankie Ballard’s new single is one “helluva” good country song. It is the ideal song to listen to after a long day’s work. Out of all the radio singles that Frankie has released in his career, this is by far my favorite, and my second all-time favorite song of his after “Place to Lay Your Head,” an album cut of his debut studio album.
