Los Angeles - Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp has recently hinted that he may quit acting in the near future. He stated that he would probably be interested in pursuing "quieter things" if he retires.
Depp stated in a recent interview that his career in acting has been "kind of an insane option", according to Yahoo! Movies.
The 50-year-old actor also implied that his age made it difficult to keep up with the 14 to 16-hour work days that he often must put in while on set.
According to US Weekly, Depp also stated that he wants to "just take it down to the bare minimum and concentrate on, I guess, living life" whenever he plans to retire.
Depp will be around through at least 2015, as he has committed to make a new installment of "Pirates of the Caribbean" as well as "Alice in Wonderland 2".
CBS reports that Depp is also slated to star in "Transcendence," "Mortdecai" and a film adaptation of "Into the Woods".
