By Larry Seely     Jul 28, 2013 in Sports
Toronto - Toronto Argonauts head coach ended speculation on Sunday as Scott Milanovich named Zach Collaros as the starting quarterback for Tuesday nights contest against the B.C. Lions.
The 24 year-old will make his first career start in the CFL, but the youngster is looking forward to the opportunity as starter Ricky Ray is unable to go after an injury in last weeks game against Winnipeg.
Toronto is leading the East Division with a 2-2 record, the the Lions enter the game 3-1 and looking to spoil the young quarterbacks big evening.
Collaros has played sparingly over his two years in the league, completing 14-21 passes for 213 yards and a touchdown. His mobility was the deciding factor for Milanovich as he chose the youngster over fellow backup Trevor Harris.
The game figures to be tough for the young signal caller as British Columbia has the second best defense in the CFL, allowing just 84 points through the first four games, but Collaros is excited for the chance to lead the Argo's and he could cement himself as the quarterback of the future for Toronto with a strong showing.
