article imageDead shark found in NYC subway car

By Jacki Viles     Aug 8, 2013 in Entertainment
Just another day in the big city. ABC News is reporting that a dead shark has been found in a subway car in Queens this morning.
After all, it is Shark Week. But how the shark got there is anyone's guess.
Early morning passengers on the Queens-bound train out of Manhattan were greeted with the smell of dead shark carcass. The conductor promptly moved passengers out of harms way into another subway car. When the train reached its destination, the shark was removed and thrown in the trash.
The midnight strap hangers took the opportunity to take a few pictures of the shark. They are posted here on the Gothamist. The shark appears to be about 2 feet long and is pictured with a cigarette in his mouth, a can of Red Bull and of course, a MetroCard.
