Croydon - The patriotic protest group known as the English Volunteer Force or EVF held a protest outside Lunar House, which is the location of the Home Office’s UK Border Agency.
Before the demonstration the EVF had put up a YouTube video entitled ‘EVF Croydon Promo’. It explained that they would be protesting against mass immigration and the Islamification of the UK.
This Is Croydon Today reported that a group of counter protesters tried to surge past a police line and two of them had to be pinned to the ground by police.
Rob Atkin, Deputy Borough Commander of the Croydon Metropolitan Police Service issued a statement saying, "We are aware of a planned demonstration to be held outside Lunar House, Wellesley Road, Croydon at 12:00hrs on Saturday 27 July.”
The Croydon MPS tweeted after the event that there had been a successful policing operation.

After the demo another patriotic protest group known as the South East Alliance, which joined forces with the EVF at the demo put a message on their Facebook group saying, “What a fantastic demo in Croydon, hundreds of patriots in defiance of the left wing scum and their vain attempts to stop and silence us! They have failed on today and the people of Croydon have taken their town back! We are the people!! No surrender!!”
And soon after added the comment “Sea are on route to Woolwich”, where it is believed that they will be holding another protest on the same day with the intention of marching to Westminster in what they have called “The People’s March Against Terrorism”.
