AMC's “Hell on Wheels” is getting a third season. To show for it, AMC has released a four-minute inside look trailer on what to expect once season three comes to TV. The third season will have a two-hour season premiere on August 10 on AMC. From what the video shows, the main focus of this season will be the building of the first transcontinental railroad. Furthermore, it shows the corruption of the industry plus conflict with the Native Americans and denizens of the wilderness. This season will be full of drama and grit.
Hell on Wheels stars Anson Mount as Cullen Bohannan and Common as Elam Furguson. Cullen, a former Confederate soldier, finds himself as part of construction of the transcontinental railroad. The video explains that there will be bigger plans for Elam (portrayed by Common). Also, Doc Durant (portrayed by Colm Meaney) will be present for season three.
