This week, the 2013 International Best in Biz Awards paid homage to some of the payment industry's top leaders, executives, and visionaries.
On an annual basis, The 2013 International Best in Biz Awards recognizes top companies, teams, executives and products for their business success as judged by established members of the press and industry analysts.
Organizers of the awards program say that more than 150 entries were received this year from an impressive array of public and private companies, representing more than 25 countries and a variety of industries and sectors.
On Thursday, media reports confirmed that Mark Gardner, CEO of North American Bancard — an electronic payment solutions company — was named the silver winner in the Executive of the Year category.
Gardner was presented as a sterling example of youthful leadership within an equally young industry that is going places... and fast.
The NAB founder and chief executive is credited with "bringing to market the most comprehensive mobile point of sale solution available."
“It is an honor to have been named a winner in the Executive of the Year category of the 2013 International Best in Biz Awards,” said Gardner. “It’s truly been a team effort to develop North American Bancard over the past 20-years as the industry’s most innovative merchant payment provider, and this is just the tip of the iceberg."
