The video shows the woman kicking and screaming in the car after her husband told her he won't take her to the lake because he has to do household chores and get his truck fixed.
In the throes of juvenile hysterics, the 30-year-old woman cries: "I'm about to go CRAZY!"
Judging from the accent of the couple, viewers
have guessed that Jim and Whitney are likely from somewhere in the southern US.
Jim tells Whitney: "It's my day to get sh** done too, and you're acting like an 11-year-old who didn't get the toy from Wal-mart."
She answers: "You are because you're not taking your wife out on the lake that we've spent money for." She continued: "You have to stop and get me some cigarettes! I'm about to go crazy!... never get my way! I just want one day when I get my way- ONE DAY!"
She kicks the dashboard and raises a foot to the ceiling of the car. She stops and complains she is having an anxiety attack, but her husband only laughs at her.
Explaining what led to the tantrum, Jim said he had not promised Whitney he would take her to the lake. Gawker
reports he said: "Didn't promise anything at all. In fact, I had worked 60 hours that week and told her all week that Saturday was my day to get stuff done around the house... But as usual she threw a fit about it. She has broken doors off the jambs at our house…That was the last day I lived in our house. I have moved out and filed a restraining order against her."
According to Gawker
, Jim said after enduring the problems he decided to divorce her. He claims his wife is on probation for driving under influence and that efforts at marriage counseling have failed.
He said he realized their marriage was over when she "de-friended" him on Facebook.
Before he posted the video online Jim filed a divorce and got a restraining order against Whitney.
