The Boston Red Sox and Dustin Pedroia are talking about a contract extension that could be worth more than $100 million.
According to Yahoo, if the deal goes through, then this will make him the second highest-paid second baseman.
According to CBS, Pedroia is a four-time all-Star, as well as the 2008 AL MVP, and this season he is at OPS+ 125.
According to ESPN, the Red Sox defeated the New York Yankees on Friday, and after the game Pedroia said nothing about the status of the negotiations, but he said he embraced the idea of staying with the Red Sox.
Pedoria said that the Red Sox is his family, and it would be great if he could stay with them.
