According to staff at the Coalition Drum Shop in La Crosse, Wisconsin, a mysterious elderly woman who came to the shop stunned them with an ace performance on a drum set.
Consumerist reports that staff at the store said they do not know who the elderly woman was or where she learned to play the drum. But they managed to record two videos of her performance that fellow Rolling Stones seniors must be looking at for their next recruitment.
Grandma drummer's performance help us keep in mind the fact that no one is born old; there was a time not too long ago when every dull, uninteresting looking senior citizen was young and probably as hip as any twentysomething hipster.
In a caption to the video, the Coalition Drum Shop comments: "We have no idea where this lady came from, what her name is, or where she went, but she rocked our faces off!"
However, some have wondered why the shop staff did not bother to get her identity after they filmed her drumming. Could this be a way of promoting the store's YouTube channel? Consumerist asks.
Judging from the online excitement over Grandma's performance, it seems not many think this could a younger person dressed up as an older person. Take a critical look at her profile in the photo above. This could be for real.
