By Markos Papadatos     Jul 14, 2013 in Entertainment
Country singer Tyler Farr released the music video for his latest single “Redneck Crazy” in late April and after twenty weeks on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, it sits at No. 16, for the week ending July 20.
The single was co-written by Josh Kear, Mark Irwin and Chris Tompkins and it is a track from his forthcoming studio album “Redneck Crazy,” which will be out on October 15. Tyler's vocals on this tune are reminiscent to those of such country artists as Brantley Gilbert and Kip Moore.
His video, directed by Jeff Venable, has garnered well over 2.4 million views on his official YouTube page.
Tyler showcases a little attitude and angst, yet it is a fun and entertaining music video. Fellow country singers Lee Brice and Colt Ford make cameos in the video, as well as Willie Robertson from “Duck Dynasty,” which makes it even more appealing to the fans.
This song is also very relatable and many listeners can certainly find themselves in that situation as the song's narrator.
The Verdict
Although Tyler Farr’s previous singles “Hello Goodbye” and “Hot Mess” failed to reach the Top 35, “Redneck Crazy” is certainly a keeper and it’s a song that will help propel him into country super-stardom. At this point, his song should be No. 1 bound.
