article imageZimmerman verdict: Angela Corey's smiles raise Twitter questions

By JohnThomas Didymus     Jul 14, 2013 in Crime
Florida State Attorney Angela Corey's happy smiles as she addressed the media after her team lost its case against George Zimmerman have raised comments on social media with many wondering on Twitter whether she realized that her team just lost.
Observers on Twitter are puzzled and wondering why the state attorney was "smiling like she just won the Super Bowl and is about to head to nearby Disney World," as Twitchy puts it.
Videos and photos posted to Twitter showing her smiling while addressing the media sparked anger among Trayvon Martin supporters.
Critics are alleging that the prosecution handled the case against Zimmerman in a shoddy manner.
A few Twitter reactions:
Rick Sanchez: FL State Atty Angela Corey happy & smiling way too much. Does she not know prosecution lost???
gjbgjj: Angela Corey failed her task yet she is up there smiling thanking people like its the Oscars
Alicia Rafael: Angela Corey, you just lost a huge case and you are smiling like you just won the lame state lottery pageant. So Unprofessional, sickening!

Jason Wilde: Seriously Angela Corey, I have seen more stoic NFL coaches more crestfallen after a match
John Podhoretz: Seriously Angela Corey should stop speaking. Remember she charged him under evidence that was so bad he was acquitted.
