Vancouver - Cory Monteith, a star of the hit musical TV show, 'Glee', was found dead at noon PST Saturday in a hotel in Vancouver. Police have said foul play is not suspected in the death but have given no further details.
Monteith, 31, starred as Finn Hudson on the Fox series. Though he had many camera roles before signing on with 'Glee' for the show's first season in 2009, the musical was the job that propelled him to fame.
A Canadian, Monteith was born in Alberta but raised in Victoria, B.C,., the city he called his home town. He'd finished a stint in an undisclosed California rehab in April and in May was seen at a NHL playoff hockey game in Vancouver. Watching the Vancouver Canucks that night with Monteith was his girlfriend, and Glee co-star, Lea Michelle.
Monteith was found in his room on the 21st floor of the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel.
On Monday, July 15, an autopsy was down on Monteith's body; results won't be known for a few days.
