article imageNBA star Baron Davis claims alien abduction

By Brett Wilkins     Jul 13, 2013 in Sports
Los Angeles - NBA free agent Baron Davis claims he was abducted by extraterrestrial aliens while recently driving through the desert from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.
Davis, a two-time NBA all-star who most recently played for the New York Knicks, made his bizarre-- yet apparently serious-- claim in a podcast published on WestCoastRydaz.com.
When asked what's the craziest conspiracy theory he believes in, the 34-year-old Davis replied "aliens."
"I was actually abducted by aliens two weeks ago," Davis claimed. "I was on my way from Vegas to here in LA. I see this light and I think it's a big-ass truck, you know like, aww fuck, like it's gonna be traffic and I was just driving, driving then next thing you know, dude, like I was in this fucking like steel thing and these fucking crazy-looking people, like half-human, half-like-fucking ugly motherfuckers. They were poking me on my nose and shit."
Davis added that the 'aliens' "were looking at my eyes, they had my hands tied, and the next thing you know I was in Montebello, dude, burning rubber on my way back to LA at four o'clock in the morning."
After his harrowing ordeal, Davis said he had to go to In-N-Out Burger, a favorite California fast-food chain restaurant, to calm his nerves. He ate two burgers while shaking and wondering what just happened out in the desert.
Despite being shaken by his alleged experience, Davis said that the encounter left him "sharper."
"I am retaining information," he claimed.
When asked if he was being serious, Davis responded "hell yeah, dude" and claimed he would write a book about his close encounter.
