article imageHostess will freeze some Twinkies before shipping them

By Owen Weldon     Jul 7, 2013 in Food
On Friday Hostess confirmed that some of their Twinkies will be frozen before they are shipped when the pastries are re-released this month.
According to Huffington Post, Hannah Arnold, a spokeswoman for the company, said in a statement that a small percentage of retail customers requested frozen versions of Twinkies, and that is why the company has decided to freeze some of the products.
According to Yahoo, Arnold went onto say that their customers will be able to date the product for freshness and it will also allow them a little bit of flexibility in stocking their shelves.
According to Inquisitr, The company said that consumers will not have to worry because the Twinkies will still taste the same.
The statement finished, saying that the new owners are committed to baking quality snacks.
