article imageAdam Kokesh under investigation

Washington - Activist Adam Kokesh is currently under investigation by police after a video released on his YouTube channel on July 4th showed him standing in Freedom Plaza, loading a shotgun and declaring himself a part of the "Final American Revolution."
Adam Kokesh has been making a lot of controversial headlines lately as he has taken his activism to the next level, calling for a second and final American Revolution.
Fed up with intrusive government intervention, Kokesh has, numerous times, suggested that the American people must band together to spark another American Revolution. And while he says he would prefer a non-violent revolution he has also pointed out his belief that a violent revolution may be necessary at some point if peaceful revolution fails to work. He has even made bold statements about "overthrowing the federal government" and "starting the second American Revolutionary army."
Back in May, Kokesh announced his plans for an armed march in Washington D.C. on July 4th during which a group of activists would march on Washington D.C. with loaded rifles. Kokesh called off the event and encouraged everyone to start a protest or armed march at each state capital, however, after he was arrested at a smoke-down prohibition event in Philadelphia. His reasoning for this was that he wanted to make sure the protests on July 4th would not just rely on one person's planning.
But regardless of calling off the official march, Kokesh was still in Washington D.C. on July 4th with a loaded gun. A video released on his official YouTube channel shows Kokesh standing in Freedom Plaza, loading a 12-gauge shotgun and declaring himself a part of the "Final American Revolution." He ended the video by saying "See you next Independence Day."
Kokesh is now under investigation by D.C. Police and the United States Park Police and could face legal troubles and imprisonment depending on how the investigation plays out.
