The bracelet had belonged to the woman's mother who is now deceased.
KFOR reports that the woman stood on a table in order to access the donation bin and became stuck while she was inside.
Fortunately, the woman had her cell phone on her and was able to call 911 after being trapped for approximately two hours. According to
KFSM, the woman told a 911 dispatcher:
“I came down here and was kind of was looking around, looking around, looking around and I got inside it. And I have M.S. so it doesn’t take much before I start really cramping up and hurting, you know, and I can’t get out.”
The woman also told emergency workers that while she was trapped inside the bin, another person actually stopped by to leave a donation but was scared off by the sight of the woman being trapped.
Once rescued, the woman was checked out by paramedics but no trip to the hospital was needed.
WREG reports that despite the woman's best efforts, she was unable to find her mother's bracelet.
