On June 17, pop music superstar Britney Spears released her newest radio single “Ooh La La.” The world renowned songstress premiered her song on “On Air With Ryan Seacrest.”
It is expected to be featured on the upcoming soundtrack for the family comedy “The Smurfs 2,” which is titled “The Smurfs 2 (Music From and Inspired by)” which will be available on July 23.
The song was co-written by Lukasz Gottwald (Dr. Like), Joshua Coleman (Ammo), Henry Walter (Cirkut), Bonnie McKee, Jacob Kasher Hindlin (J Kash), Lola Blanc, as well as Fransisa Hall. It will play over the end credits of “The Smurfs 2.”
Throughout her career in the pop music scene, Britney has sold over 100 million units worldwide and she has won many awards, including a Grammy for “Best Dance Recording” for “Toxic.” Five of her albums debuted at No. 1 and last year, she served as a judge on “The X-Factor,” along with Simon Cowell, L.A. It is safe to say that Britney Spears is back with one of her best song in years. Her new single is extremely catchy and it is melodically stunning. It is a synthpop masterpiece and it is slightly reminiscent to Madonna’s “Superstar” from her “MDNA” album. Her fans have always been loyal to her and it is already receiving airplay on the radio airwaves, so it ought to become another smash hit in both the pop and dance charts. Lady Gaga needs to watch out since Britney is ready to reclaim her pop throne.
