article imageFlorida police find cocaine between man's toes, he claims not his

A man brought to police headquarters on an assault charge, was found with drugs between his toes. Martin Perez claimed he had no weapons or drugs on him and when the drug, it was cocaine, was found, Mr. Perez said it was "not mine."
When police at the St. Lucie County jail in Fort Pierce found the drugs, Mr. Perez, 33, offered no explanation on how someone else's bag of cocaine came to be stuffed between his toes, TC Palm reported. He simply insisted they were not his drugs.
Can you guess if police believed him?
Originally brought in on a charge of aggravated battery, additional charges of cocaine possession and smuggling contraband into a detention facility were added.
