On June 4, country music singer Sarah Darling released her newest radio single “Little Umbrellas” for her fans worldwide on iTunes.
It was co-written by Sarah, as well as fellow Nashville songwriters Rob Crosby and Doug Johnson. It goes for adds on country radio on June 24. It is the follow-up single to her Top 35 hit “Home to Me.”
She performed this single last week at the CMA Music Festival at the Bud Light Stage, at the Bridgestone Arena Plaza, and it was well-received by the fans and attendees, and rightfully so.
Sarah Darling’s “Little Umbrellas” is a keeper. Her song is up-tempo, uplifting and a great, fun, summertime tune. Her vocals are refreshing and reminiscent to those of country songstresses Jessica Andrews and Faith Hill. It is a substantial indication that Sarah is one of the most underrated female vocalists in the modern country genre of music.
Blessed with prom queen looks, Sarah Darling is able to grab her listeners’ attention, and with her soothing vocals and catchy songwriting, she is able to sustain their attention and leave them wanting more.
“Little Umbrellas” deserves two thumbs up and it is worthy to become a Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts.
