New York - Aussie pop group Atlas Genius will be performing two headlining shows next week at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom on June 18 and 19.
They will share the stage with such musical acts as Pacific Air and Haerts.
The band is made up of Keith Jeffery on lead vocals and guitar, as well as Michael Jeffery on drums. They are signed to Warner Brothers Records.
Last month, on May 2, Atlas Genius on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” where they sang their newest single “If So” from their full-length album “When It Was Now.”
Their latest CD has garnered positive reviews from such outlets as Entertainment Weekly’s “New Stars We Love,” as well as People Magazine, which praises them as “synth-pop bliss.”
“When It was Now” has reached No. 34 on the Billboard 200 all-genre charts, as well as No. 11 on the Billboard Rock album charts. Its lead single “Trojans” peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Alternative songs charts and their current single, “If So,” sits at No. 16 on the Alternative charts (for the week ending June 22).
