Austin - Lollyphile is a candy company that sells exotic and bizarre candies. One of its new products claims to be able to cure our curiosity of how breast milk tastes like.
Located in Austin, Texas Lollyphile has a solution for people who are curious and forgotten how breast milk taste like. They have created and launched a new line of lollipops that are breast milk flavored.
The lollipops contain no actual breast milk (in fact, they're vegan), but contain a candified version of breast milk's flavor, apparently based on the milk of real mothers who volunteered to help company Lollyphile develop the new product.
The company states that it is their responsibility to find out just what kind of flavor can turn a screaming fighting baby into a peaceful content one. These lollipops won't bring back childhood memory; they'll bring up animal instinct.
Over the past years, breast milk flavor caught interest in many people. In 2011, a London ice cream shop came up with a breast milk flavored ice cream called " Baby Gaga". Also in that same year a New York University student created an art installation called the Lady Cheese Shop, with cheese made from human breast milk.
On Lollyphile's website, customers can purchase 4 Breast Milk Lollipops for $10, 12 for $24, and 36 for $58.
