With the controversy of Microsoft making it that the Xbox One console has to be online at least once every 24 hours, one should not discount the console. This is due to Microsoft having quite the selection of titles with some of them being exclusive only to Xbox. For fighting game fans, there is perhaps a reason you may want to overlook the mandatory online mode of the console. This is because the video game company Rare
plans on releasing a new “Killer Instinct” game. It was believed that perhaps there would be no more KI games; but, Rare said that it
listened to everybody and decided to make a new game.
At an Xbox One press conference, one day before the start of Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2013, a preview of the game's trailer was shown. This trailer features notable characters in the KI universe: Jago, Glacius, and Sabrewulf. KI fans can somewhat rejoice that a new installment of the series will come; but, this is only going to be
for the Xbox One console. According to this video, it will come out this year. One can assume that this new installment of Killer Instinct will be one of the Xbox One console's launch titles.
The first Killer Instinct game came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) after it came out to arcades; then, it was followed by "Killer Instinct II" which came out to arcade before being ported to the Nintendo 64 as "Killer Instinct Gold."
