article imageAstronaut Chris Hadfield has a copycat — 'Hadfield at Home'

By Anne Sewell     Jun 9, 2013 in Internet
While Canadian Astronaut, Chris Hadfield, was on the International Space Station, he kept us all both amused and educated with his many interesting videos. Now he is back on Earth, he has a copycat on Twitter.
Hadfield at Home (Twitter handle @HadfieldAtHome), seems to have taken over from where the original left off, with many amusing tweets.
Turns out the face behind the parody is a comedian. New Yorker, Sean Ireland, dressed in a Canadian Space Agency golf shirt and an awful fake mustache can be seen on the Twitter feed. He says on the page that "I'm back on Earth but I still want to answer your questions!"
While the original Hadfield tweeted:
Chris Hadfield@Cmdr_Hadfield
"Back in North America! Walking around the Bangor, Maine airport, getting my Earth legs back. Fresh, clean air has never been so sweet."
His parody couldn't wait to counter with:
Hadfield At Home@HadfieldAtHome
One thing I was not prepared for: pollen! And I thought my sinuses were clogged in zero G's!
All in good fun, including the above video, parodying the commander's original Space Oddity video.
