article imageReview: Michelle Wright amazes on music video for new single 'Strong'

By Markos Papadatos     Jun 9, 2013 in Entertainment
Canadian country singer Michelle Wright released the music video for her latest radio single “Strong” on June 6, via her official YouTube page.
The song, which she co-wrote, is an ode to female empowerment and its video features photographs of real-life women who were able to overcome obstacles and challenges in their lives.
Michelle looks as stunning as ever in this music video and she does not look a day older than 30.
The Verdict
Michelle Wright is back “stronger” than ever with her new single “Strong.” It is uplifting, empowering and a breath of fresh air to listen to. Her song garners an A+ rating and this may very well be the tune that will help her reclaim yet another win at a future Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) award ceremony for “Female Artist of the Year.”
She possesses one of the most crystalline alto voices in the country genre and “Strong” is one of the most powerful songs released by a female country vocalist this past decade since Martina McBride’s “I’m Gonna Love You Through It.”
It definitely ranks in my Top 5 all-time favorite Michelle Wright vocal performances, along with “I Don’t Wanna Be That Strong,” “Take It Like a Man,” “One Good Man” and “Safe in the Arms of Love.”
