New York - Country singer and Atlantic recording artist Hunter Hayes has several exciting events taking place in New York this month and in early July.
Hunter Hayes was the recipient of the “Nationwide Insurance On Your Side” award for best new live country act at this year's CMT Music awards, which took place on June 5 in Nashville, Tennessee. He bested out his fellow nominees Lee Brice, Florida Georgia Line and Kip Moore.
On June 18, he will be performing at New York City's Webster Hall in its Grand Ballroom, along with country singer Ashley Monroe. His deluxe “Encore” CD is going to be released on that same day, which features his lead-off single and Top 10 country hit “I Want Crazy”; moreover, on June 21, he will play on NBC's “The Today Show” at Rockefeller Plaza as part of their “Summer Concert Series.” This performance is free and open to the general public.
On July 5, Hunter will return to New York, where he will headline My Country 96.1 FM’s “Freedom Fest 2013,” which will take place at the Pennysaver Amphitheater in Farmingville, Long Island. He will share the stage with such country acts as Sarah Darling, Dustin Lynch, Lonestar, Parmalee, Tate Stevens (X Factor winner), Lauren Alaina, among others.
