By Owen Weldon     Jun 7, 2013 in Technology
There are already privacy concerns about Google Glass, and it has yet become available to the public, but in a new UK survey one in five Brits want Google Glass banned altogether.
According to Techcrunch, the survey was conducted by Rackspace and Goldsmiths at the University of London, and around 4,000 residents of the UK took part in the survey.
According to Daily Mail, around 61% of those surveyed think that Google Glass should just be regulated, compared to around 55% of those in the United States.
According to Digital Spy, the headset is going to allow users to do things such as record video footage as well as capture photographs via vocal commands. Google has acted quickly to try to calm fears of potential privacy violations.
The search engine giant did announce that the glasses will not feature facial recognition technology.
