On June 3, country duo Florida Georgia Line’s latest music video for “Round Here” premiered on CMT, as well as on CMT’s official website.
It was filmed in a two-day shoot and it was directed by Peter Zavadil.
Particularly impressive about this music video is that it is filmed in a split screen and it features scenery from the hometowns of both musicians. These places include Ormond Beach, Florida, for Brian Kelley, as well as Monroe, Georgia, for Tyler Hubbard.
Tonight, Florida Georgia Line is nominated for three CMT Music awards, which include “Duo Video of the Year,” “Breakthrough Video of the Year” and the coveted “Video of the Year” category; moreover, they are up for the Nationwide Insurance “On Your Side” award, which honors the best new live act in the country music genre (where they are nominated along with their fellow country artists Hunter Hayes, Lee Brice and Kip Moore). The CMT Music awards will air live from Nashville, Tennessee.
Similar to their previous music videos for “Cruise” and “Get Your Shine On,” the concept for the latest video “Round Here” is brilliant. Peter Zavadil does an exceptional job on its direction and country fans worldwide are certain to be pleased with the outcome. This video garners an “A” rating. Brian and Tyler know how to entertain and rock out at the same time. It is a lot of fun and the song is extremely catchy and one of the best on their debut album “Here’s to the Good Times.”
