The news
was relayed to the BBC by Angel Howansky, a long-time publicist for Paris Jackson's grandfather, Michael Jackson's father, Joe Jackson.
At the time of writing, further details of the 15-year-old's condition are unavailable,
the BBC said.
Michael Jackson's only daughter, Paris recently landed a role in the
Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys, a fantasy film from Paralight Films, which,
according to Now, is "set for release in the next few months".
Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys tells the story of, "The war between the land and the sea. Ancient sea-magic turns a dolphin into a human, an evil spell changes a teenage boy into a dragonfly and a once good and loving jellyfish queen becomes an evil fairy godmother. This modern day adventure forces an unsuspecting family to become the weapon to fight the war which rages on the land and under the sea."
Paris is a prolific user of Twitter. On Monday, the would-be actor tweeted that
she wanted to succeed Matt Smith and become the first female Doctor
when he steps down from Doctor Who at Christmas.
However, yesterday, quoting from a song by the Beatles,
she tweeted, more ominously, "Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away but now it looks as though they're here to stay."
According to ongoing updates at
TMZ, "Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention" at a Calabasas hospital.
