article imageFormer PM Tony Blair says there is a problem within Islam

By Owen Weldon     Jun 2, 2013 in World
In a column the former Prime Minister of Britain, Tony Blair, urged governments to be honest and to address radical Islamization.
According to Washington Times, Blair, in a column posted to the Daily Mail, said that in general there is not a problem with Muslims. He went on to say that most people in Britain will be horrified at the murder of soldier Lee Rigby. He continued to say that there was a problem within Islam, which is from the adherents of an ideology which is a strain within the religion.
According to The Independent, Blair also said that there may be radical activists in other religions, but the Islamic strain is just not the province of just a few.
According to Herald Sun, Blair said liberal and open-minded societies are not compatible with radical Islam.
Two men are being charged with murdering Rigby, and they are due to appear in court hearings on Monday.
