Moody - A man in Texas drove his tractor into a pile of wood, which concealed a hive of killer bees, and he died after he was stung to death.
According to NBC, the hive was home to 40,000 killer bees, according to family members and authorities.
According to CBS, the man, Larry Goodwin, tried to use a garden hose to fend off the bees on Saturday but that did not work.
A woman tried to come out to help Goodwin, but she suffered injuries when she too was stung. When authorities arrived at the scene, Goodwin was pronounced dead.
According to KWTX, authorities say that Goodwin was completely covered in stings.
A fireman was also stung, but he did not have to be hospitalized.
An official said that he has seen animals getting stung to death, but this was the first time he heard of a person getting stung to death.
