Walnut Creek - An elderly 75 year-old Murphy's, California resident has been reported missing subsequent to an appointment in the East Bay community of Walnut Creek, California.
Assistance is being requested by authorities.
75 year-old Fay Burford, from Murphy's, Ca. has gone missing subsequent to an appointment in Walnut Creek, Ca.
PIO Sgt. Chris Hewett of the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department (CCSD) reports the department received a missing person report on May 24, 2013.
Mrs. Burford was expected home on the evening of May 23, 2013 after the appointment in the East Bay community of Walnut Creek.
It was announced in an advisory message by the CCSD that Mrs. Burfords bank card was used in Colinga, Ca. at 6:30 p.m. and also at 11:30 p.m. on May 23, 2013 in Lake Isabelle, Ca.
Mrs. Burford drives a faded silver or taupe colored Jeep Cherokee, the license plate number is 4YMC949.
At this time, foul play is not suspected, however, anyone who sees or communicates with Mrs. Burford is requested to immediately contact the Sheriff's Dept at 209.754.6500.
Colinga is 175 miles from Walnut Creek and Lake Isabelle is 140 miles from Colinga.

Fay Burford has been located and the missing person alert is cancelled
At this time, no explanation has been offered for the unexplained disappearance, neither by the authorities or the formerly "missing person".
