International martial arts actor Donnie Yen isn't certainly slowing down; he is still making martial arts films with mainly Asian theatrical releases and international home video releases. A trailer has been released for Yen's newest movie called “Iceman 3D” which is a remake of the 1989 movie called “The Iceman Cometh.” It is unknown when the movie is coming out; it could come out later this year or sometime next year.
Iceman 3D stars Donnie Yen as an ancient Chinese warrior named Ying. Ying and two other warriors were frozen in ice and kept that way for several hundred years. They are discovered in China and transported to Hong Kong; but, an accident takes place and Ying escapes. He is given refuge by a woman named May. Thus, Ying begins his life anew living in modern-day Hong Kong. According to City On Fire, filming is not halfway completed yet. It also reports on other problems the production is facing.
