Last month KPMG decided to resign as Herbalife's independent auditor after one of its partners was found providing illegal stock tips to a friend about clients of the firm, which included Herbalife.
According to CNN, Herbalife hired PricewaterhouseCoopers as its new auditor. The company announced the hiring on Tuesday.
PWC will audit the company's financial statements for the fiscal year, and it will also re-audit Herbalife's financial statements for the last three years, according to NY Times.
According to LA Times, Leroy Barnes is the chairman of the audit committee for Herbalife and he says that the company is pleased with the decision to hire PwC as their new independent auditor.
Barnes went onto say that investors can rest assured that Herbalife will assit PwC in any way possible to help them with their work.
