Ruthless Records Co-Founder: Eazy-E planned to kill Suge Knight

By Layne Weiss     May 12, 2013 in Entertainment
Los Angeles - In a recent interview, Ruthless Records co-founder Jerry Heller revealed that late rapper Eazy-E wanted to kill Suge Knight, but he talked him out of it. Now Heller is saying, "I should have let him kill him."
Heller recently sat down with Prezident Bejda of The Murder Master Music Show.
He told Bejda about a conversation that took place between Eazy and him. Eazy asked Jerry if he knew Suge Knight, and Jerry replied he did. "Well, I'm gonna kill him," Eazy revealed. "This guy is gonna be a problem and I'm gonna kill him!" At the time, Heller thought it was a silly idea, especially from a business standpoint. He explained to Eazy," First of all, we're doing $10 million a month with six employees. We don't even have a typewriter in the office. We're the most successful start up company in the history of the business and you want to kill this guy? That just doesn't make any sense to me."
But now Heller has come forward to admit he regrets talking Eazy out of killing Suge, HipHopDX reports.
"I should have let him," he says. "I would have done the world a favor." Heller revealed he believes Eazy would have killed Knight by himself. "He was fearless," he said of the rapper who lost his battle with AIDs in 1995.
"He was right and I was wrong. Ruthless would still be around. Dr. Dre and Ice Cube would probably still be with Ruthless. It would have been an empire."
