article imageMike Tyson to get animated series called 'Mike Tyson Mysteries'

By Can Tran     May 11, 2013 in Entertainment
Retired professional boxer Mike Tyson is getting his own animated series called "Mike Tyson Mysteries" which will air on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block.
For many athletes, musical artists, actors, and so forth, there is always the need for reinvention as a means for survival or redemption. However, the way that people might be able to reinvent themselves can be considered questionable. This is considering the heavy baggage of their pasts. Retired professional boxer Mike Tyson is by no means an exception. Those following Tyson's life and career know the baggage he carries. As what can be perceived as a means of invention, this is something that can be deemed unexpected. What is it? Mike Tyson is getting his own animated series which will air on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block.
This series is called “Mike Tyson Mysteries;” like many shows on the Adult Swim block, each episode will be about fifteen minutes a piece. In this series, Mike Tyson (voiced by Iron Mike himself) will play a detective who solves all sorts of problems. Also, this cartoon will have actual live-action appearances from the boxer himself. It is similar to the “Jackie Chan Adventures” when there is a live-action appearance from Jackie Chan at the end when he does a Q & A with fan letters.
Mike Tyson Mysteries is being produced by Warner Brothers Animation. In the series, Mike is assisted by the magical tattoo on his face and a talking pigeon.
