Three bodies found on Kansas farm, police searching for suspect

By Andrew Dyer     May 7, 2013 in Crime
Ottawa - Police are investigating a farm 60 miles southwest of Kansas City after the bodies of a woman and two men were found on its premises.
According to ABC News, friends of the residents alerted authorities when they noticed a foul odor emanating from the farm and what appeared to be a body wrapped in a tarp inside the farm. The police at first dismissed the smell as trash after their initial investigation. When the friends returned to the farm to conduct their own investigation into the odor, they ultimately found a decaying body under a pile of junk that appeared to be deliberately placed to hide the corpse.
Investigators in a nearby county are waiting to see if one of the bodies was that of a mother who has been missing with her infant daughter since last week. Found on the farm site was a burn barrel with baby clothes, a baby bottle, children's socks and a sleeping bag. The friends of the residents who initially alerted the authorities confirmed that the missing mother had a relationship with a man who resided in the home.
Identification of the bodies has yet to be confirmed. KCTV News reports that the Franklin County Sheriff's Office issued a bulletin for Kyle Flack, 27, and Cyle Mathew Bailey, 22. They were believed to be driving a Toyota Corolla. Bailey has allegedly been in touch with the authorities in an attempt to clear his name and he is no longer a person of interest in the investigation. Flack lives on the property where the bodies were found.
