The video game company Capcom, in honor of Marvel Studios' "Iron Man 3" which is available in theaters right now, has released a special tribute video to Iron Man.
On Friday, May 3, Marvel Studios' (Marvel Comics' film production studio) released “Iron Man 3” to theaters across the United States. Tony Stark aka Iron Man is one of the most notable characters and superheroes in the entire Marvel Comics universe. When there's a Marvel Comics game out, there's a high chance that Iron Man will be in it provided in some ways means or form.
In honor of Iron Man 3's release, the notable video game publisher and developer Capcom uploaded a special tribute video to Iron Man. While there is no dialogue, the video does more than speak for itself. It is a combination of clips from games which have Iron Man as part of the cast.
Such games featured in the video are: “Marvel Super Heroes,” “Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes,” “Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds,” and so forth. In short, this is Capcom's way of honoring Iron Man. Perhaps Capcom might do the same with Wolverine when “The Wolverine” hits theaters this summer.
Originally a comic book character, Iron Man has an extensive list of video game credits. Games which have Iron Man are: “Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth,” “LEGO Marvel Super Heroes,” “Marvel vs. Capcom Origins,” “Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2,” etc. Iron Man is a playable character in the upcoming Marvel Comics free-to-play MMORPG called “Marvel Heroes.”
In “X-Men Legends II,” Iron Man is featured as a secret character that can be unlocked.
