article imageJustin Timberlake to play Neil Bogart in biopic

By Owen Weldon     May 4, 2013 in Entertainment
A few days ago it was announced that Justin Timberlake would play the lead in a biopic of Neil Bogart, a record company executive in the disco-era, who died in 1982 at the age of 39.
The project is titled Spinning Gold, and not only will Timberlake be starring in the lead role, but he will also be taking the role of a -coproducer, according to Guardian.
According to DigitalSpy, Bogart's son Timothy Scott Bogart will also be co-producing the film, and so will Mark Damon, Gary A Randall and Laurence Mark.
According to Perez Hilton, Timothy said that his father's story has been a source of intense fascination . He went onto say that the reason why the story has never been told is because the right person to play him was never found. Timothy said that when he first met Timberlake, he knew he was right for the role.
Filming has not started yet, as it is scheduled to start filming sometime next year.
