A new trailer, the UK trailer, has been released for the upcoming film by Joss Whedon which is his incarnation of William Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing."
The UK trailer has been released for the upcoming Joss Whedon theatrical full-length film called “Much Ado About Nothing” which hits theaters, though it's a limited release, on June 7. If you have read or watched any of William Shakespeare's works, then you should get the gist of Much Ado About Nothing. It is reported that this movie was filmed in just the span of twelve days in Santa Monica. This isn't the first time that a full conversion has been made to the story, with the original lines kept in, as Kenneth Branaugh has done something similar a couple of times.
In filming, Whedon had brought over known actors from his notable series such as “Angel,” “Firefly,” and “Doll House.” Alexis Denisof (known as Wesley in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and Angel) and Amy Acker (known as Fred in Angel and Whiskey in Doll House) respectively take on the roles of Benedick and Beatrice. Nathan Fillion, known as Malcolm Reynolds in Firefly and Richard Castle in “Castle,” is one of the stars part of the supporting cast.
From what the trailer shows, this film might be in black and white. If you are a fan of the Whedonverse, then you may want to catch this movie when it comes out.
